CLOWNS & MESA COSA TOUR!

Two of Melbourne’s most (un)likely counterparts, hardcore punk rock dingbats, Clowns and Mexi - garage noise freakout legends, Mesa Cosa, are combining party forces all in the name of chaos this April/May to take a whirlwind 10 date travelling freakshow of a tour around the country.

Each band are no strangers to the road, both having undertaken numerous Australian tours in 2013 and both have already, this year, dipped their toes into the rocky, volcanic sands of New Zealand for tours which included both bands performing at the last ever Camp A Low Hum festival in Wainuiomata.

Both bands are armed with recent releases and a thirst for rowdiness. Punters can expect numerous buddies of the bands joining bills to create total nonsense mixed bills of variety, stupidity, chaos and fun.

HARMONY’sCarpetbombing' album is officially out today! This week's PBS Radio feature album and next week's FBI Radio Album of the Week, 'Carpetboming' has already enjoyed critical acclaim. Blunt Magazine awarded it 5/5 stars, labelling it “…uncanny, imperfect, poignant, eerie and ethereal” while The Music observed correctly “Some bands are so unique in their aesthetic makeup and vision that they break the mould before it has time to set” and awarded it 4.5/5.

No doubt more critical acclaim will be aimed at Harmony once the ‘Deconstructions' bonus album (available as a download with physical album purchases) hits home. 'Deconstructinons' is a full re-imagining of 'Carpetboming' by a diverse selection of Australian artists spanning many genres, including Adalita, Batpiss, Spod, TV Colours and Mick Turner of The Dirty Three. Tracklisting below.

Today the band reveal the video accompaniment for ‘Water Runs Cold’. Directed by Matt Weston, close friend of the band, member of The Nation Blue and auter responsible for the successful 2013 Cosmic Psychos documentary ‘Blokes You Can Trust’.

HARMONY ‘Carpetbombing’ is available now through good indie stores, JB-HI-FI Australia wide, digitally or direct from Poison City’s E-Store HERE.

POSTBLUE DEBUT ALBUM OUT MARCH 21

We’re extremely stoked to announce POSTBLUE's monster debut album 'I Hope They're Praying For Me' will be out March 21st on LP/ CD/ digital via Poison City. You can check out the lead track “Ugly" HERE. Preorders for the LP/ CD version will be available very soon.

Coalescing creative forces from Byron Bay and Melbourne, the powerful alt-rock/ shoegaze trio quickly established themselves as an exciting new musical presence upon inception over the summer of 2012. Armed with their explosive debut ‘Lap Year’ 7” and a dynamic sound that lurches between 90’s influenced alternative rock and scuzzy punk anthems, Postblue invoke the direct sound and unpretentious aesthetic of decades gone by and meld it with the fire of youth.

Postblue have consistently toured up and down the East Coast, sharing stages with the likes of Violent Soho, Title Fight, Daylight and The Smith Street Band along the way and scored coveted slots on the Poison City Weekender and Splendour in the Grass festivals.

To celebrate the release of ‘I Hope They’re Praying For Me’, Postblue will head out on tour with labelmates Luca Brasi through March/ April.
